wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered
digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic
technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field
confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market |

Amazon.com Product Description This sport watch from Casio packs a lot of power without the face clutter typical of many chronographs. An elegant bluish-purple dial with luminous white stick indexes and hands is housed within a resin stationary bezel. Featuring analog/digital time and 12/24-hour format, this timepiece also includes a 30-page databank, three daily alarms, and an auto-calendar. Presenting on a stainless steel band and powered by a quartz movement, the watch is water resistant to a depth of 165 feet.

Combo Analog/Digital watch. another solid Casio design May 5, 2010 M. Wagner (Springfield, MA) This watch is for those who like the styling of an analog watch, but can't bring themselves to go without a stopwatch, count-down timer, and a AUTO updating full calendar (day/date). Most analog watches won't update properly at the beginning of each month. This watch being digital takes care of that while looking pretty good for the price (I paid $22).
The backlighting is also very nice for BOTH the analog and digital. The case is a stamped metal piece looking OK, but kind of flimsy. The same can be said for the metal band. Somewhat rugged, but the links are folded metal rather than machined solid. But, for the price, I'd hardly expect that level of quality. The label says 10yr battery. Don't believe it. I bought this to replace a Casio Ediface series watch that only lasted 4-5yrs (it too said 10yr life). The watch is solidly waterproof for all but divers use. Pools or hot tubs, doesn't seem to matter.
For the money you can't beat it. If you want a slightly better quality watch look at p/n: EFA-110D-1AVDF-4. That has solid case and band links, but is much more money. You decide.
Excellent watch November 10, 2009 tennisdude (phoenix,az usa) The watch could be a little thinner but it is not a complaint. I really like it so far.
Excellent watch and a great price. October 21, 2009 Julius Kovatch (Roseville, California USA) I have many watches and this is my everyday watch alternating with the light grey color dial model since I got one of each. I do not understand some people complaining about how difficult to use it and they have to carry the manual with them. I am retired, over 65 and do not have any problem to remember all the basic functions I need to use when I am on a trip. All in all it is a very nice looking watch, very accurate and an excellent value for the money buying it from a first class place and one of the most reliable source Amazon.com.
Highly recommend it to anybody who is looking for a good loking watch at a very reasonable price for everyday use.
received 2 defective watches October 12, 2009 Troy Fassbinder (Florida) both first watch and replacement leaked - never submerged below one meter - supposedly "water resistant to 50 meters"
Great Buy For Less Than $25 October 11, 2009 Jeffery H. Reynolds (Dallas, TX) I bought the watch as I wanted an inexpensive casual watch with a metal band. I liked the picture of the watch so I ordered it.
I like it.
I also bought another casio watch with this one that has the same guts.
As with the other one, the crystal does scratch easily so don't go banging this thing against walls. Also, the backlight doesn't do much good.
But... all in all, I like this lightweight watch.
I rate it only with 3 stars but don't let that discourage you. It's a good time piece.
